Regular vs deep cleaning: what's the actual difference?
A regular clean maintains
A regular clean is maintenance: kitchens and bathrooms cleaned and sanitised, surfaces wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped, bins emptied. It's designed to hold a home at a good standard week to week.
A deep clean resets
A deep clean goes further: inside the oven, rangehood filters, grout detail, skirting boards, window tracks, inside cupboards and drawers, and detailed attention to limescale and build-up. It takes longer and costs more because the scope is larger.
Most homes benefit from a deep clean first — especially if it's been a while since the last thorough clean — then a regular schedule to maintain the standard.
Which one do you need?
If the home is already well maintained, start with a regular clean. If there's visible build-up, or you're starting service for the first time, book the deep clean and move to regular from there. Our calculator shows indicative pricing for both, incl. GST.
