Term time: the daily rhythm
During term, the programme is built around the school day: washrooms, eating areas and high-touch surfaces serviced daily, classrooms on a set rotation, and everything scheduled around bell times, before/after-school care and events.
Holidays: the deep clean window
Term breaks are when the periodic work happens — carpet extraction, machine scrubbing of hard floors, high dusting, window cleaning and detailed furniture cleans. These tasks can't be done around students, so the holiday window is precious and should be scoped well in advance.
Compliance and clearances
Any provider working in a WA school must hold current Working with Children Checks for all staff on site, alongside police clearances and public liability insurance. Ask to see evidence before the programme starts — Black Swan supplies it with every school quote.
